Wondering why the soup schedule changes?
Our deli team does their very best to adhere to the published schedule. Sometimes we can’t though, for very real human reasons – including but not limited to:
– being short-staffed due to illnesses or life events; if we are unable to fill a shift, we have to put out a quick + easy soup
– ingredient challenges: if the ingredients are back ordered, didn’t arrive, or arrived damaged, the soup is affected accordingly
– soup goblins: if others eat all the soup (we put it out at 11am), we might have to put out something else
Never fear, if the soup of the day sells out, we will put something hot out. If you have your heart set on a particular soup we recommend calling the co-op first.
