Full-Time Front End Manager
The Front-End Manager plays a crucial role in the operations of the Co-op by overseeing all front-end staff, including cashier, clerk, and MOD positions to ensure all shoppers receive great customer service. Additional responsibilities include cashiering, scheduling, hiring and training staff, ensuring smooth checkout processes, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Starting wage: $24.50/hr – D.O.E

Required hours: 40 hrs/week, evenings & weekends required
Qualifications:
– Ability to provide consistent excellent customer service; both internal and external
– Ability to show up each day ready to contribute to your team, store and community
– Ability to remain calm in an emergency, stressful or difficult situations
– Ability to train staff in Point-of-Sale computer system use
– Demonstrate strong initiative and multi-tasking skills
– Ability to demonstrate self-directed education for products, brands, trends, etc.
– Demonstrate a positive, adaptable, and flexible attitude with a strong commitment to being a
team player
– Work with us to create an inclusive and respectful work environment
– Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff
– Flexibility in scheduling
– Basic math skills
– Basic computer skills
Preferred qualifications:
– 3+ years of experience working in customer service or related area
– 2+ years of supervisory experience including hiring, development, training, coaching, and
performance management
– Demonstrate knowledge and experience developing and implementing new processes and/or
systems
– Demonstrate ability to effectively multi-task, problem-solve, and achieve results
– Demonstrate de-escalation tactics, skills and abilities
– Understanding of basic safety and health regulations and procedures
– Time management skills and abilities
– Retail grocery industry experience
– Cash reconciliation experience
