Full-Time Store Clerk 

The Store Clerk is an integral part of our Co-op operations by supporting the grocery department as well as our customers at the front-end.

Responsibilities will include stocking and facing products, light housekeeping, cashiering and customer service, and other duties. This position will be based in the front-end but will have additional focus and training for grocery operations.

This role requires excellent customer service and communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, initiative, problem solving, intercultural competence, self-awareness, basic math skills, and integrity.

Starting Wage

$17.50/Hr. – D.O.E.

Required Hours

FT 32-40/week
5 days per week
Evenings + Weekends required

Basic Requirements

– Ability to stand for long periods of time
– Ability to lift 50 lbs.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to cold temperatures in a walk-in refrigerator. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions (cold, heat, rain, floods and humidity). The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate. The employee must be able to maintain focus in a busy retail environment.
