All things related to the climate crisis are top priorities for me. Are there an infinite number of other important issues for me to invest my time and energy into? Absolutely.
The way I see it, if mother earth is inhabitable to humans in >40 years, all the other important issues our society faces are moot.
One way for me to reduce my climate impact is to reduce my household waste. If everyone created one less piece of trash every day, there would be 8.2 billion less pieces of waste in a landfill. In one week, that would be 57 billion!
Adopting a low-waste lifestyle is not about doing all or nothing or deprivation, it’s about what steps we can do and continue to build on. Here are my favorite zero waste home and wellness products from our co-op.
