Nutrition for Active Boomers

Come learn about the specific nutritional needs of Boomers in this two-part class. Annie Albertson, MS, RD, has a Master’s Degree in Nutrition Science from the University of Minnesota and is a Registered Dietician. She has over 30 years of professional experience with General Mills, where she was responsible for researching nutrient intakes of Americans. Annie has published and spoken extensively on dietary patterns and diet-disease relationships of many population groups, including children and older adults.

Class 1 | Thursday, March 8, | 2:00 – 3:00pm
Come and learn about the specific nutritional needs of active Boomers. Are you getting enough of the right nutrients for your age/lifestyle or perhaps, too much? This class will address age-specific concerns of diet/activity and give you sound nutrition information as you keep moving forward during this exciting life phase.

Class 2 | Thursday, March 15, | 2:00 – 3:00pm
Now that you have a better understanding of what nutrients active Boomers need everyday, come and gather some practical information on diet, food choices, budget and healthy eating for small households.
