Sustainability Updates
New sandwich bags in the deli
We’re always looking for ways to reduce packaging at the co-op and the deli is in the process of replacing plastic sandwich clamshells with lined bags.
Billboard lights are off on the co-op side
Earlier this year a couple owners expressed concern about light pollution and dark skies so we asked Lamar to shut off the lights on our side of the billboard.

– Earth Day Fair – join the Cook County Earth Day Fair to connect and learn
– Replace something disposable with something more sustainable – like Swedish dishcloths for paper towels, or beeswax wrap for plastic.
